Beloved Australian pianist Piers Lane AO returns to New Zealand to lead the highly-anticipated Wallace National Piano Festival as both recitalist and adjudicator. His Opening Recital programme exudes the remarkable sensibility of the Romantic revolutionary, Frédéric Chopin. The evening will conclude with the eagerly awaited competition draw for our 16 semi-finalists, who will be competing for a total prize pool of $20,000.
