WELCOME TO TERM 3
Welcome to Term 3. I hope you all had a restful break and enjoying all that Term 3 has to offer.
Over the break, we held our July Songwriting Workshops with tutors Adam Thorndyke and Kane Chong. Seven budding songwriters came together for two days of intensive and collaborative work, culminating in a performance for friends and family in the Lewis Eady Guitar Showroom. After so many years of cancellations and postponements, we were thrilled to revive our Holiday Programme offering and look forward to many more Songwriting Workshops in the future.
If you know of anyone who would like to enrol for music lessons with us, please encourage them to complete our online enrolment form today.
We look forward to creating more musical moments with you this term.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Winter sicknesses and tutor shortages continue to have an adverse effect on the education industry. Thank you for your continued understanding and support as we navigate these tricky times together.
Skype lessons for isolating students: For students isolating at home (e.g. COVID-positive, symptomatic, Household Contact), lessons will continue via Skype at their usual lesson day and time. Please let us know at least 4 hours’ prior to your lesson day/time so we can make the necessary arrangements. We cannot provide a credit for missed Skype lessons.
Partner School students: We can only process credits for lessons missed due to a school activity (e.g. school camp, sports day). Please email your child’s full name, name of school, and the date of the missed lesson to musicschool@lewiseady.co.nz for the credit to be processed.
Great South Road students: If you are unable to attend your lesson in person for any reason, you can nominate another person (adult, child, friend, etc) to attend the lesson in your place! Please email the name of the person you nominate to musicschool@lewiseady.co.nz at least 24 hours before your lesson day/time.
