FORWARD BOUND
Kia ora koutou,
This will be my final newsletter, as I wrap up my time at Lewis Eady Music School after four rewarding years.
It has been a privilege to work with such a dedicated and talented community of tutors and students. Watching each student’s musical journey and progress has been a true joy, and I am immensely grateful to have been part of this chapter.
I would also like to give special thanks to our admin team - Alissa, Georgie, and Adi - whose tireless efforts behind the scenes keep our school running smoothly, ensuring that tutors and students can focus on what matters most: MUSIC. I am especially pleased to share that Alissa will be stepping into the role of manager in 2025, and I am confident that she will continue to lead the school with empathy and enthusiasm. Please join me in congratulating and supporting Alissa as she takes on this new role!
Whatever you have planned for the summer break, I wish you all a safe and relaxing period with whānau and loved ones. Please note our summer closure period below.
Thank you all for being such an integral part of this community. Remember, it’s never too late (or too early!) to start your musical journey!

Lewis Eady Music School Manager
hello from YOUR NEW MUSIC SCHOOL MANAGER
My name is Alissa Hunt, and I’m thrilled to be stepping into the role of Music School Manager. This new journey is both exciting and meaningful to me, and I can’t wait to connect with each of you. A bit about me—I’m someone who is always looking for a challenge, which led me to take the leap from Los Angeles all the way to New Zealand. Embracing new experiences has shaped who I am, and I’m grateful to be part of a school that nurtures creativity, growth, and a passion for music.
Looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
