MUSIC MATTERS
MUSIC MATTERS
With the power to uplift, motivate, and offer an escape from everyday stresses, music lessons can play a crucial role in a person’s growth and well-being.
Welcome back! Term 3 promises to be a busy and exciting term, filled with unforgettable musical experiences.
A highlight of this term will be the end-of-year concerts at our partner schools. These performances provide a friendly, relaxed, and encouraging atmosphere for students to demonstrate and celebrate their musical progress in front of their whānau and friends. We are currently finalising the concert dates with our partner schools and will soon provide you with a detailed schedule.
Student self-assessment plays a vital role in our holistic approach to music education, empowering students to take ownership of their learning journey, which is why we will be conducting student self-assessments again this term. If you have any questions about this, please email musicschool@lewiseady.co.nz.
I am incredibly proud to be a part of this vibrant musical community. If you know of anyone who may be interested in starting (or re-starting!) their musical journey, please encourage them to enrol for music lessons with us! Click here to complete our online enrolment form or email any questions to our dedicated admin team at musicschool@lewiseady.co.nz.
See you at your next lesson.

IMPORTANT UPDATES TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please note the following updates to our terms and conditions (effective from Term 3, 2023):
Credits for lessons missed at partner schools: Credits can only be applied to accounts with full payment of term fees. To request a credit for a missed lesson due to a school activity (e.g., school camp, inter-school sports), please email musicschool@lewiseady.co.nz after the missed lesson, providing the name and date of the school activity. Credits must be requested for the applicable term to be eligible for approval and processing (e.g., credits for Term 1 cannot be processed if requested in Term 2 or subsequent terms).
5% discount: We offer a 5% discount on your fees when there is more than one person in your family scheduled for music lessons. This discount also applies if a student has been scheduled for more than one lesson per week. If you are entitled to the discount, your invoice will reflect it. Please note that in the event of late payment, the discount will be discontinued. If you enrol a second student or add an additional lesson partway through a term, a 5% discount will be applied to your invoice for the second student/lesson only. The 5% discount will then apply to both the new student/lesson and the existing student/lesson at the start of the next new term.

GREAT SOUTH ROAD STUDIO STUDENT CONCERT
Congratulations to all students who performed at the Great South Road Student Concert on Sunday 25 June. What an amazing display of musical talent and dedication! We look forward to witnessing even more stunning performances at the upcoming end-of-year concert in November.
Student concerts for those receiving music lessons at our partner schools will take place at their schools in Term 3 or Term 4.
